This EP was recorded by Ryan Collier and Lisa LeCavalier in the spare bedroom on a few rainy fall days. It's impossible to avoid all that holiday music, so we figured, "if ya can't beat 'em, join 'em!" Three classic holiday tunes ("Go Tell it on the Mountain", "Christmas Time is Here", Jolly Old St. Nick") and one original ("End of Year Cheer") round out this little EP. It was joyfully sent to friends and family in lieu of a Christmas card in 2008.

This was an project of mass proportion recorded in near entirety at Top of the Hill Studio. Tim Fackler gathered up a good number of folks from Virginia City, Nevada. These folks posted up quite the eclectic compilation of country, western, protest music even 1800s-style waltz on this snap shot of music on the Comstock in 2007. A true pleasure and a look into the minds and the myths of the men and women of Virginia City.

This was a hammond organ, drum and bass trio project of John Armbruster, Kit Wolverton and Mike Springer. This record was tracked live at the now defunct Top of the Hill studio near the university in Reno. Mike Springer was the leader on this project and made a fantastic first record out of it. I hope they actually put it up on the web one of these days. Contact Mike or visit their myspace.com webpage and bug them about it!

Ryan Collier, Brendon Lund, Joe Toth, Jason Loughmiller made humble b! This was the first of two records. We did most of the tracking for this in our good friend Mike Furlong's studio. We did additional production at top of the hill and wrapped up the mixes in Mike's place. Jon Abrams was amazing to work with--his insight and experience were invaluable learning tools to us all. His projects are awesome--check it out. http://www.shadymountain.com. Listen to Humble B now on MySpace

Ryan knew Raskal growing up so naturally they got together for this track in Michael Furlong's studio. Ryan had a blast making this!
Synth drenched beats continue on Raskal's "Ballin Outta Control." This time the beat lurches and chugs under R's nasal tanged flow, cool faux symphonic keyboard snippets slipping in amidst some swirling laser fog. (Excerpt from IGN Soundtrack Review)

Ryan recorded and engineered 1 track on this record, Unfinished Biz. George Whitsell (formerly of Crazy Horse) and violin virtuoso Bobby Notkoff performed on this track.

Schizo-melodic-hard-funk-rock-swing-metal...or just interesting. The Gods' Entertainment is real hard rock record. And it's hard, progressive rock "circus" metal! It was a fun project with good people and certainly a challenge with the dual bass craziness!

This was Ryan's second record with the Hyde Street band. Some of these tracks appeared on the first record, though much more time was spent producing this cut. We did all of the tracking in Michael's old garage studio.

This was Ryan's first (released) record both as a performer and an engineer. This record was perhaps one of the biggest challenges of all time. It wasn't your average first record with guitar, bass, drums. Instead it was a 7 piece band with a lot of vocals! A great challenge and an awesome place to get things started.
